John was one of the most caring people I knew, always had a smile and a hug ready I remember one new years eve John and my Dad building a race cousenon of VHS boxes and driving a remote control car through them after a few beers and my Dad's secret supply of whisky, I remember another evening but not sure if it was a special night or not, John, Dad and I sat talking and drinking whisky  John was surprised I enjoyed it and decided for my birthday to get ne a bottle of Grants which I will admit 'evaporated quickly) he will be missed so much, always in our hearts and never forgotten
